dc.description Marilyn Brown is a Professor in the School of Public Policy. During her prior career at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, she held various leadership positions managing annual research budgets of $100+ million, focused on energy efficiency, renewable energy, the electric grid.
dc.description Tim Lieuwen began his academic career in 1999 as an Assistant Professor in the School of Aerospace Engineering after completing his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering in the Woodruff School. His research is in the area of understanding and control of ultra low emissions Laser Doppler velocimetry measurements in an aircraft engine combustor. Measurements such as these will enable the development of cleaner burning aircraft engines, capable of burning future fuels.
dc.description Juan Moreno-Cruz is an Assistant Professor in the School of Economics. He has a PhD in Economics from the University of Calgary and a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Los Andes, in Bogota, Colombia. Moreno-Cruz’s research focuses on the interaction of energy systems, technological change and climate policy.
dc.description Adam N. Stulberg is Associate Professor and Co-Director of the Center for International Strategy, Technology, and Policy (CISTP) in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on international security, Eurasian politics and security affairs, nuclear (non)proliferation, and energy and international security, as well as inter-disciplinary courses on science, technology, and international security policy. His current research focuses on strategic energy interaction, energy statecraft in Eurasia, new approaches to strategic stability and denuclearization of military arsenals, nuclear security and nonproliferation, internationalization of the nuclear fuel cycle, counter-network warfare, and the implications of nanotechnology for international security.
dc.description Steve Usselman is a historian who studies technology, policy, and the evolution of American industries. His research has concentrated primarily on technical infrastructure: transport systems and logistics, especially railroading; communications and computing, including the history of IBM; and industrial research and development (R&D).
