Research & Scholarship

One mission of the Georgia Tech Digital Repository is to support the widespread dissemination and reuse of the scholarship and research outputs created by the faculty, staff, and students of Georgia Tech in the course of their scholarly or professional work.

Scholarly content includes traditionally published scholarship (e.g., journal articles, book chapters, conference proceedings); gray literature (e.g., technical reports, white papers, conference posters or presentations); theses and dissertations; student coursework; videos of scholarly lectures; learning objects; and research data, code, or other outputs.

The Georgia Tech Library encourages open, public access to research and scholarship maintained within the repository.

University Archives & Special Collections

Another mission of the Georgia Tech Digital Repository is to expand access to university archives (materials created by Georgia Tech offices and collections that document the Georgia Tech community), as well as special collections related to science fiction, the textile industry, science and technology, and architecture and design in the Southeast.
