Abstract
While many institutional repositories (IR)s provide access interfaces that allow for the harvest of their metadata records, the dynamic query of their resources, or even the ability for internet search engines to crawl their resources, the irony is that the discovery services provided by libraries themselves more often than not do not provide access to the resources contained in the library’s own IR. LibraryFind, an open source application developed at Oregon State University, was the Libraries' attempt to address this issue by envisioning access of library resources not through individual applications, but through a single cohesive library platform.
