dc.description.abstract By interviewing co-authors of papers in the field of bio-fuels this article looks at the various factors explaining how international research collaboration is organized. We found several factors such as motivations, differences in those from the Global North and South, and research rank. We then proposed new models for the emergence of international research collaboration. en_US
