dc.description.abstract This project will provide students with the foundational knowledge to be able to conduct experiments which require imaging systems. Many fields and many student's find themselves taking some type of images for their research, yet imaging is not their area of expertise. Experimentalists need the foundational knowledge and to be able to design appropriate imaging systems for their studies. Additionally, to properly analyze imaging data, experimentalists need a foundational understanding of imaging systems in order to appropriately quantify their results. This online module will guide novice students through self-guided reading and exercises which will help prepare students to design and conduct their own experiments! en_US
