dc.description This work was produced in an urban design class directed by Professors Ellen Dunham-Jones, Tarek Rakha, and lecturer Joel Jassu with input from Dekalb County Commissioners Steve Bradshaw, Lorraine Cochran-Johnson, and Ted Terry, as well as with support from the DeKalb County Department of Planning and Sustainability and the MicroLife Institute. It was presented on May 9,2022 at a virtual public meeting hosted by the County Commissioners. en_US
dc.description.abstract This studio report documents the redevelopment proposals of six teams of MS urban design and MS high performance building students to advance DeKalb County's 2020 Memorial Drive Revitalization Plan. The report is intended to help community members envision change and discuss ways to improve the economic, social, and environmental performance of this corridor between I-285 and Stone Mountain. en_US
