dc.description.abstract The bedrock aquifers underlying the Georgia Piedmont have the potential to provide adequate ground water for irrigation purposes. In this example, 70 ga1lons per minute (gpm) would be adequate for landscape irrigation of the property. The problem is locating water bearing features (fractures, faults, rock contacts, etc.) within the bedrock. The well site selection techniques used in an irrigation project are illustrated and described in the poster display. The techniques and results of the site selection process are described below. en_US
