dc.description.abstract This presentation will cover a number of key questions that address how Georgia Tech is organized financially by providing a big picture look of how Georgia Tech combines these sources to achieve its objectives. Some of these questions are: What are the basics of Georgia Tech’s budget and accounting structure? What are the three types of budgets at Georgia Tech? What are the funding sources for these three budgets, and how are the resources applied for the benefit of students and sponsors? What’s the allocable uses for these different sources? What is the budget outlook for these three budgets, and what can we expect for the near future? This brief session will provide an introduction to students, faculty, and staff on how to navigate Georgia Tech’s numerous funding sources and how to avoid mistakes that can jeopardize academic and administrative efforts, whether these are funded by internal or external sources. en_US
