The goal of this worksheet is to allow for conversion between various third-order nonlinear optical parameters (i.e., two-photon absorption and nonlinear refractive index terms), both microscopic and macroscopic, given just a few user-defined parameters.
The second sheet ("NLO Conversion Worksheet") requires the user to input certain materials parameters (the toggled choice of solution or film will dictate which set of parameters are used) and an operational wavelength. The user then enters both the particular term and value to be converted and then chooses the term to which the value will be converted. The third sheet ("Calculations") allows one to view the actual calculations. The fourth sheet ("Relevant Formulae") describes the specific formulae used in the calculations on the third sheet and gives the appropriate literature references.
