Libraries are beginning to purchase Electronic Resource Management systems to help them track the increasingly large percentage of their budgets
allocated to electronic resources. However, ERM systems are not always purchased from the vendor supplying the library’s ILS. As a result, batch
processes or tedious manual entry is necessary to make ILS-based acquisitions data available to ERM users. This program will introduce an initiative,
called CORE, that has as its goal creation of a standard protocol for identifying and transferring acquisitions data elements from ILS to ERM.
