If you have a room. To be. Thank you so nice to be OK but I only missed a devastating two inch snowstorm so. That they missed. A person from Cisco said any amount of selling ice would have indeed caused me great trouble but it's a treat to be with you today. I was going to have been there for a bit over a year and I should have who run the campaigns that I first saw my joy when you go which was by George attack My goodness it's really inspiring campaign in memory of some of the amusing fact the work that was going on here so I've been looking forward to the chance to come to campus I was to stand over you and I was so it's really a pleasure to be here today thanks for having me. I did read a study back in two thousand and eight when our founders came together and we look at the response from the crowd for very different reasons to Eric Wright the High School of Business at Berkeley and the kook sad but when I met Patrick and so I got a bit more to read by democratizing access to capital so if I wanted to go back to the belief that I am Every woman deserves the chance to achieve their dreams and to this day we remain extremely dedicated to being the world's most open and kind of funny part of the reason we have campaign spending topic and how far we should come to an individual liberties if I was to go on a fellowship trip to a startup for profit I started with the profit you were met with moves of people who come to the site every week the whims of dollars that flow through the site every week calculators and contribute. Hundred ninety countries and territories so it's good to have the past few years. These are just a few of the stats What I Hate About You do you go is that we are really really dedicated to customer service. We like to think about ourselves as the course of kind of fun day and we have a twenty four seven support to help you at any time we have expected experts and experts and lots of different topic areas from film to hardware etc. Also be a an optional say you can see if you miss that we have a site available in English French Spanish and currencies that we have on the site so its affiliates who work there we actually just have a good series B. around it now it's last week when we use for you my dad was from quite a pro kids and I.V.P. So when the very finest expect to actually about to hit I have a huge growth moment in the stage of the company so it's a really fun time for me to be here if you. Were particularly focused and I especially focused on entrepreneurship and I had fun really I mean it was entrepreneurship and we ran a business some of our producers are going to push up especially social entrepreneurship I don't think we have the full partner pitch with Georgia Tech right now but what we do we certainly have a lot of students who have run campaigns from this community. So just told you quickly to the capital works like I did before we drove it to deeper than that how would you have funded a campaign and a crowdfunding campaign. If you look at it as a one sided you can't get anyone to go. I was rather. Well this guy yeah OK OK We're going to see that it's a campaign that you should transfer attempts and tracks but anyway it's really a moving experience to run a campaign you write to you personally and professionally just are you to run a campaign it looks like you have several pieces this is you. Keep a watch where you put a photograph or a video here you know I've been here this campaign was looking for you seventy five dollars and then I could actually read this was over five hundred thousand and there's no time left and they were fixed by the campaign move that they did not want to receive any of the fires unless they hit their goal but this is actually not the want to go back and have a campaign donors choose to receive the funds and the facts before the law we're going to get the funds are going to survive and that they have. But if you see the cracks which is a time referring to the talkers of thanks that the campaign always giving to contributors in exchange for their contribution. This is an example of a prior period where you're seeing a description of the president of this what happens to be Startup America showing up at the time but little description of what I have to do in a campaign spin you think that this is actually a campaign by Duke students that's why you get so much of students doing amazing startups that we see and you go all the time. So when you think about it. It's real because I actually think about the funding side and yes there's a ton of value in the funds who claims to be a crowd funding but after much OK let's come to us after the campaign and shared with even more about the better part of the campaign experience was what they were and from the campaign I will find it interesting you can gather as an entrepreneur at this particular event the bar it's really the most really good your market and test your market you're probably going to start up I typically of kind of funding but we are funding model so wait for you to get funding and I mean for the way with you not only getting dollars but also see you who's candid about the campaign you write a killing about it how much I really want to contribute to it to be claiming for products which marketing messages including through it was you to actually choose just. The course of your business development I see what you write and. I. Would like you to a few examples of the value of crowdfunding But this is example of a campaign you have just launched last week by students at the School of Business that Berkeley then look at to create the bread How scared were you able to get health care so the rest of your family who don't even have to go over you when you see their discounted for looking at his watch and reading him because he's not used to approach care of the Senate they were there for the fans to actually you know match the company so they have raised right to records even listed there and the way their services can only be offered in California right now but whatever things they're looking for in this campaign and it's really it's in the world they're getting contributions from so that they can by the way that's their big demand that states or they expand into next so contribute if you want to take charge as the next state on the list. These could be a loser showcase and that was that I've gotten from crowdfunding to rule use that could have to move to help kind of pull them to the next level and what that campaign is then we run it's a campaign by students at the University of Toronto it cuts the key but I've found three lines down in Toronto so they fit much more easily onto a tablet and I more space for images. I'm sure there are ten thousand I was thinking of but that was ambitious enough by the actually hide as you can see from the prior week by some people claim we access to the software be the to be the first people to die or would this new software what happened was so many people created it and offered their feedback on it but that was my view of their second Bush it was softer and it was much better than the first and I would get approached by a hardware phone company has to integrate their software into phones that are sold at retail All right so they actually skipped the venture around it went straight to retail the guy at. You are working professionally out of trying to tell the bad it's with a T.V. show Shark Tank that would suit Shark Tank. Fashion. Look a little bit different potential investments deciding if they want to build a number of hours and we have a campaign called the Brown family bed attaches to your phone to breathe into a time as he would but you're safe to drive by so you're back on the content of the campaign got a ton of momentum on him to go back to base way more than it's going to be about one hundred thirty thousand dollars and that the back of a set of entrepreneurs was the first time I was shocked to hear that I had five sharks I wanted to come in on a similar deal so I if I was sharks but the deal cost them so I was really excited for that calculate the average price that reason was because they'd seen me credible to me and on them to go ahead of their way around. These campaigns have them to expand it a bit really look at the president's the type OK What is that guy roomed. Was her name help her to have a show called tell her go and You Tube She called my drug kitchen where she really drinks and cooks and I was in amazing time I am sure it's a good show right she wanted to take the You Tube shelter but she didn't know where to go so what she did was logical or payment every time you contributed to it she would come over to use it as a route for your geography and she actually mapped out her route to start where people had contributed from. The God of the battle with the cruiser brigade for use as a prophet in Kenya that was really do successful in getting kids John was it one time that Africa in Kenya and she wanted to expand to another town but she had twenty five thousand dollars to do it and she didn't really have a discrete products that she could offer she didn't have a product she didn't have a T.V. show so she was very clever and she decided to go with this theme of being beyond ending its resolution was a had been to its solution to poverty soon. She was took a look at the star and put twenty five Band-Aids on her face and every time she rose to fame as it was still a campaign she was killed off so that was the time she was walking around with these bad it's all about gays getting social media attention I get a lot to write to the agent they can do it and she did I'll tell you it was twenty seven thousand dollars for a campaign. I'm sure you watched because I like your show Kenya you know since June so she's really been done a good job this is an example of using a private room to raise a real mess so this campaign was out over a year and see I believe. And we would reduce. We would see you saw was two speakers who hadn't been invited to speak at U.N.C. and some of the students had perceived to be discriminatory against the topics the speakers would have focused on so they would stick out came to get the funds they needed to bring those speakers to campus and it was quite successful you see using the funding as an advocacy tool really powerful and that's especially part of the message you're trying to sell and it's perhaps equally even more valuable than the dollars. I play as a robot I want to empower your participants so do for example a kind of approach with Cuba which empowers its fellows to go with the micro finance work around the world and Cuba has their favorite was back when she had time to do so the family was after him run campaigns and I'm going to cover the cost of their travel their magic their stay in countries around the world. Through my See my college students we actually see a lot of students raising funds to cover portions of their tuition that sometimes we see students raising them to cover it too and ships or experiences abroad mission trips things besides. So the. OK From schools right here this is a school camping out of the way where someone you could read the description says I'm quite a good writer but she would have surgery and she did show me the money to do it so I can pay it was a movement example of raising awareness for the fact that transgender surgery should be more accepting that sets a bowl are so raising the funds she needed to have the surgery and it was also really a very successful campaign. As a student I mean this campaign is the rule about driving from a campaign which was a joy to tackle the problems that I referred to you know these dragon five S really really that's the front end and if that wasn't cool enough they also have video cameras on them so you can use them to go spot any bias and this can be you I did you go before you helicopter drill in phase so you as a clearly ahead of the curve here fantastic campaign as you can see I'm a server I move Doris. Day So I would do is take us on the journey of thinking through the creation of a campaign and this is a real campaign was OK with that right there I believe five This last the close to the end but the way I told them I was going to share their campaign with you and we were very excited and said proves to you if they have it we do this for how we can run a campaign with a better creative initiatives so this is real time please check your facts and all the way back to the folks at minus one so what is most run miles away it was to be the first children summit on Mars OK but its crew is the first human settlement on Mars and actually said we were the first ship there in twenty eight. And we've had the first humans if they're in twenty twenty five. There were two hundred thousand people applied to be the first. For people who go to Mars in this first mission. And you will go to Mars you can never come back. To that about. The campaign to decide to write a capital because we want to raise awareness and support for the solution. I want to raise funds to cover a portion of this twenty eight trip. So let's talk about what makes a good campaign first is your pitch. And your sister your pets were the first thing to do is make sure that you abide by the Korean fact so we look at this picture. Who would survive this one. You know what it's reworking we have to follow what. People like a good job because that can be really looks like it has more chance of success it has a higher percentage of its group rate is this is the second largest growing empire because we've both raised twenty thousand dollars but the only way to remarks like it's going to be more successful so you can use this roughly when you have a campaign to make sure you think through you're good at whatever it is you're trying to accomplish that the much it's going to cost and make sure that you can reduce this first thirty percent are saying from the closest community in the first twenty four to forty eight hours after going live because only after you get the people who really really want to support you know that the crowd will come it will say if you give you five dollars to ride with a stranger so this is really important. And we have this man as you could imagine ready with this it was a multi billion dollar. Campaign. And he would have hosted the world's largest kind of I mean campaign which has raised five point six million quite wrong which we're very excited about that but it's a little bit about what I said we were talking the most. Right well the first question for that right is how much do you actually use from your first campaign and what we're about to help you to cover so they decided to start the campaign and the five hundred thousand. Have that kind of the first set of blueprints that my. Kid mine for their craft for twenty eight teen. Second most important thing that we're through with your pets is to have a compelling story that's personal So when you share your idea with the world you want to share your crusade behind it who are you probably are you doing with the idea Why are you putting your time and effort behind it when you could be doing so many other things people are going to have people that's a good advertisement or have a beautiful and good fake image and me that's a huge mistake I see and you need to actually put your sights on the video and share who you are you're looking to connect with an audience over the image that you need to show who is a person as we call it there we can video. Was three minutes max probably closer to two this is bad news story but he is the founder of most when I was a mother and she just had to believe me and he used to show us his personal stories in just one video because when you start to understand him and why he's so excited that he's been wanting to take this next big week for mankind for many years that makes us excited about the most campaign. So different you know peds the second most important thing to have for your campaign it was that kid you could appeal to that would be a your percs the product of the tokens of thanks to get your contributors and people question you just like the reduce the reasons you can get the purpose of what you're doing where they live how much it will participate in what you're doing what you like your Pocatello going to thanks. So make sure that you step through all of those reasons why you're putting together your products and have them be a perfect match for each of those you can be really creative. But we do find that they can pay us with products with a lot more fun as. A Jew or successful you have to be fast and make sure you keep fulfillment in mind so what you tell people you offer that you actually have to offer so don't tell people that you'll be able to do impossible things and make sure that you keep how much time they were going to cost to fulfill those projects in mind when you offer that you can start with the idea they. Can be very effective. These are some of my favorite products that I've called for across the site I particularly like this one from when we were doing that we talked about that downloadable software crap sticky boy have you got to be the first to try it was a really dumb but this was. Good as well they were kind of cold and you actually got bad paper for the back of your phone but the grass coded at the camp these are both in person and it's opportunities to meet these folks in person and you can see the truth of the telescope thanks to the You Tube joy that found us an entrepreneur was at a conference about medical innovation. The type this guy from the Paul people seem to like to travel. So it's got a way for people to connect with. Thank you those cattle really for. The most what. They believed was a pretty good luck with their products actually but I have found ten dollars to go to be open up to date on what's going on with my wife. And it's what's really needed it's. Good to have filed. They did have the problems were a bit sad if you still really read well because I was going to take your digital photo would take a photo of the photo with all this behind that. Pretty sweet next week to share and. This would like to thank you to send your Twitter message to those you could to do for you can look to those who will be printed on the cash to get real time but what does this mean exactly it was it wasn't really possibly five so it's just what if I did I could take it as I do have a Twitter post and put it on the parachute when tires then actually I would want to have a picture so being actually high I was moment would be a Korean So there's a lot of the products it's nice to make it in for graphics people rather than for graphics so you see I have different kinds of Koreans good success with these markets claims the real real value of this but I must thank you for your problem so do you have multiple versions of these quotes of the campaign and the current limited edition. So addition to peds. The thirteen point there are a great campaign must have is a strong promotional strategy. The first to publish it here for you to think about is that it's to be played OK it's to feel screw you and since we're OK We will reach that and you can do this job as you would so if any of you I think you would the campaign could start thinking about who are the key influencers it assumes that you care about so from Armstrong It's great if they have key influencers like I struggle it's rather like people who work I had much that said you can support that you would be the key advocate so start looking through who are those people who you want to go you know and started. In the social media space don't try to use every social media platform because go back and have a bad smile social media presence on many part forums but I did choose a copy for we usually use Twitter and Facebook and the deep with those rights if you would start up that's more professional and you might choose to look to you if you're doing was that's my vision or you might choose Pinterest or something it was probably a new one that we've been all over you guys nobody knows what's right for you I was right about the work I start to think you have to make this great first impression because you can only do it once and you want to be strong so when you write your campaign you want to raise that route thirty percent right away so we really have to find people who have a softer much rubbish and I can play it with their closest community over me and that would be a great needs in order to get that good momentum so you can do that by doing an impression of that maybe you have a happy hour where you invite your friends to come to you show that your campaign video was there to contribute or you could probably buy something he was thinking about to launch a campaign but really listen carefully about getting to the moment. That the once you have a you can start to have your private reach strategy where you start to reach out to the media which I was interested in finding covering campaigns once they have some proof of momentum from the crowd as I say like that time that you're Indie Go Go Go Go Go factor will go up and you're going to be a factor is a measure of social engagement it's how much you're up to and getting ready to be a campaign and how much the world is getting engaged in a campaign and sharing and making to it and visiting it so you know where you're going to be a factor goes up the real shit share your campaign and on the network of the millions of people who come to visit us I think actually having your campaign with the news that one day it was also it is. Just contribution would have been. So excited and that's not unusual. So stay active treat your campaign like a blog so keep that updates to it. And to keep it updated on it so much like there was one people I mentioned that they had the server claim that was doing so much to block the ball and scoring they also do we want to be a campaign released a book which was a nice way to give them some momentum during the campaign the answer showcased for you sure that Rocky had to give them some credibility we had a launch party in D.C. in conjunction with Rocky so they would have been very proactive and this I'm sure is ready most appreciate your ideas so that it could clear the time which is very soon please give me ideas that you might for them I can get even more momentum on their campaign. But it's cool to see pieces together your pitch your products and your promotion they can help you to have a really successful campaign this is the most fun campaign as it looks as it wraps last night I'm C.C.D. it passed the thirty percent they have over four thousand fund and I'm going to have five days left but I'll get them was when we were going forward on the mission to Mars but they had like a much to hit the Flight four hundred thousand dollar amount. So when you ask me if you wish it was you might want to OK OK your choice fine or to get information on the market raise awareness for a cause to test out your idea definitely look to resources first so I highly recommend the little field guide It's twenty pages full of tips on how to run a good campaign if you Google him to go but if you're going to be the first thing that shows up and one of the resources listed here to work on. That you were going with any of these I would say is just be in touch because every campaign is unique and we can send you specific examples that relate to what you are doing and I hope you think through what you're doing and I hope you are well. You campaign in a stronger way so it was just I feel like I have enjoyed this time and you go so much especially from the perspective of the social entrepreneur it might be a stance that you feel that way and expand on that and why you are working in social entrepreneurship I think for the office a truism a chance to really forward ideas that historically might not have gone into traditional financial investing but now we have the chance as a group as a crowd to move forward and test and move forward and not just a stronger but also quite active inefficient way than ever before are so true to me we're happy to chat with you to answer a question of the let's keep the conversation going. To share some of the good to go public service announcements one that is beyond the future and that's going to be a shock to this you're welcome to join. Subsidized just so you know OK secular you. Said are you going to go because actually we were excited when a ship coming up in the beginning of March so it wasn't it was a week it was March that threw me for a bad wish it would be go go is going to be giving you an extra dollar for every twenty five dollars raised by campaigns that the women and I can be a broad definition of empowering women from supporting women are to programs to International Women's to that room to education women talk a little bit OK it's going to be really exciting day as well as we were going to promotion with exciting events throughout the course of the week congregating in the actual humans day March eighth to go but has always been very proud to be supporting women's empowerment from I found out today she would the fact there was something like five percent findings in the venture capital. Go to companies with women but closer to forty five percent of campaigns are going to go have women on the campaign team so we're really proud to be able to empower women and excited to be part of this but it should have. And I mentioned this kind of briefly a bad. Way whom I know going to the things that we struggle with as students trying to campaign on key best like. Most amazing fans and when you do you think it's like the biggest piece of advice. To the students in my peers and stuff. You say was Rancho kids actually that you feel A I didn't even know about my friend was that really a new concept the base of the Statue of Liberty was kind of hundred eighty five hundred thousand people getting it and I stand by that that to mean that I knew what it meant to say it says that it will become much more a problem because it on my networks. I find ways to just be really scrappy which helped me but actually I would encourage you in today's day and age to fit through an opportunity you have to work with people to help you with their time Serratia their time time time their treasure. And also their network so one of the students who have more than probably any other demographic is that network because you're so connected and so involved in different networks that you could have to reach us I guess better than pretty much anyone else so confident is a good way to do that and good nicely about the cry for you especially in debate is that every time you share a campaign even if you're not giving money you're going to or sing it and get your social media stamp of approval which informs your goal factor which will help us produce more so we you can get my food is I suggest I would campaign to you are a good. A bunch of people on campus they might not be famous they might not be your best friends but the people who kept us always and maybe they were really did what you're focusing on in my school they want to help you out in college doing it where they see it as a career trajectory so good advice big group and it said that to share a campaign to go even what we call the Red Phone contest where you tell folks who are feeling the most people to my campaign and you can see all the state of the back and we're going to special product I'll take you at a coffee table book for you to me about. The movie but you can actually have these contests which are very very effective I also think you. Have a question about your time out how to. Any woman who might have been on people's networks and you spend way to how do you see. The future regarding you know. Just growing in that sense to say excess movie. We have the kind we focus very much on the development of I'm OK I sat around. Ever Going to these many countries and territories to spend money on Gammick and I will write everything down to focus in certain areas so it will go to the focus area but growth is also OK we've been focusing on. The money has been a lot of good updates and we're out in the next few weeks so that's going to be really about is higher and we have a great user experience so John who is the one of a bunch of positives and was the investor for us from Cairo Perkins said the reasons he read to me go so much was because we're so used to focused and that's something that we want to focus on even more and when we have a model. Of things will be ready you know with respect to the site and how easy and accessible it is in then. Near future so you know I got. Here I am as a social enterprise I was in the room. So we had to go around what has always proved itself to be a debate bottom line company I think that's right if the few congress where that was so one hundred percent true it's really very special So when we reduce funds we are moving more dollars to be funded in the little gate keeper model and we have a percentage of funds raised motto so we take ninety percent of funds if you don't hit your goal and five percent if you do it because the right people can reach but we also have a twenty five percent discount for non profit in university campaign so at six point seven five percent if you don't have that three percent if you do. For say thank you so much for your time today you mentioned that women can campaign with groups were planted her going with being a chef and I'm glad to say that we're going to crash. And to really study you know the man America running we were very interested in using expansion and now doing readings a crab childish way to expand trading is that something that you're seeing the ravening do the people who are making those decisions based on people's willingness to contribute more I'm seeing that I saw a sign of the campaign I haven't seen it with a plush campaign health care model and I saw it with our Camp Fire Girls which launched their first nonprofit camp in Portland Oregon but raised fifty thousand so fast that they realized it clearly was to really for them to expand so every time you contributed they see a post a comment about where you thought this expansion was a very very good way to read about your market and you could say that you actually right away get access to sayle mail and e-mail addresses so you can follow up with people to ask them other things. A good example is the misfits Shine which is a campaign by family. For a fitness tracking device that they wanted to be very sleek so that you could I'm even told that somebody was wearing it by one of the campaign which was raising hundreds of thousands of dollars they started getting comments that people wanted to have a way to showcase this item so they were surprised because they had that people would want to add to the try actually they put out a survey to find people who wanted to display it and got the response of people who wanted to place that in that quest so they actually added to the campaign those two products they were huge successes so you know have gone into big production design products it turns out to be a super high margin part of the business that anyone expected that they would go until. I went to see how. Committed can. Be but how do campaigns to mention the local. Scale so it's a bad thing OK about the affiliations that. Then you might have as a campaign it's true you need to get to school on time from your closest community this is so sad we need to be physically close but it often is better for. Your campaign because they care about the purpose well they have pride in what you're doing or they want to buy them that often so for example. I don't know Kevin why did you. Get five thousand dollars. I was there and spoke to her. Yesterday our campaign had a social aspects they were getting a question of proceeds to support orphanages in Vietnam so perhaps this lady had been to Vietnam from God she cared about supporting education in the orphanage as we don't actually know but for some reason the campaign spoke to her so it's really good to start to figure out what those reasons people are so for example if you are buying a campaign and you find it all right if your dad is a doctor that's a great sign for you to realize the doctor community is really rallying behind this highway which doctors and other places so it's really keeping a close eye on who is supporting a campaign and then finding additional networks for about an additional parts of the way because every network is somehow connected to the runway so it's better that it's either. A school play. Sort of. A transfer of ownership. To one of the. Grades so does not scream you could have much security and the amount of time that I've been talking it probably wouldn't have been very good because the best campaigns do take five to play that you definitely should have. We do is to have that we call it trust and safety team so that we don't screen every child that social networks of the way to help isolate the campaigns that are strong and remove them I can't I point five and the ones that are not getting social movements are not going to move up so we have a lot of faith in our social and the social media we also have. I'm going to pick up five so for campaigns that are maybe it's by it's created by. Somebody who isn't actually going to do what they say they're going to do we have found a lot of figuring that out. Goes a little it's a little bit of secrets I simply was not going to be able to tell you a lot of those algorithms but he was really into my time over time and have a very. Actually top of the industry trust and safety team was pretty impressive and. I think it's really cool actually he already has been in banks in the Jobs Act which is the federal legislation moving forward equity company since the earliest days the person who found and created the legislation that he proposed on the floor of Congress actually used to go to raise funds to cover the cost of highway to write the proposed legislation so we're going to see Ride which is great and we're going to be dealing with the F.C.C. I found it frequently but we're. Moving to that's the Internet it's actually an equal access way to do it so to be some pieces of that movement that it may have enabled different pieces I have it to go forward but today you still can but I did miss that because the country should view and get back with the campaign and I'm a credit investor for things to possibly move on my back with us on the phone before we go forward that's sad with it it's a great industry we were excited about it and we also think that comforting if it exists today is going to think that if anything. And it's getting much bigger and bigger almost literally every moment because there are so many different applications for it if you think you probably have just sitting around the ideas your sense of how could I possibly write it as you go through the next few weeks I have even more those are just the tip of iceberg I found ourselves. He thinks that much like you don't want to share the word social network as much as you are because it's just an every day you know a reference it as such because it's so much more in time you were a reference cry from thinks I'll just be a mom a part of your tonights of of course you're doing it kind of funny of course this is the way of new products coming to life it's just the normal way and even if it's just to from a quick side we see so much momentum there that I profit well as one of the reasons you contribute is just one reason I have many that exist already. My name is premium. I'm curious if I start to. Write to the sources I have to promote my. House do you guys provide the services that I could would you suggest what do you do I think that a cop is a great idea actually that's a nice way to say it with an accomplice or waits for you to get your social network to sign on I'm still interested in a campaign if you get enough people for you to tell us that some of the most I don't spend about it to all those people at the same time pretty pretty quickly it can be helpful but everybody it's sad for you personally but you share Twitter so intricate with Facebook Twitter. Google plus everybody is that each person and I said OK Rick you sort of question about that is that if each of you came to look at one of these campaigns on your computer you would each have a different year on what you should remember who of you was referring most people to the campaign so I would say the most I've ever will do is to empower people you know in your network to show their campaign for you who's doing the most effectively I mean talk with them and help them do that even more so that's a really be a powerful tool that's pretty impressed I was in it with Google Google Analytics really apart from that does that. When you get great information are you getting the most traction via Facebook or Twitter. I'm sure it was referring to most of those are also very good ways but of course just by getting a clue we're going to factor that's one of those things like I stand here with our social media and the newsletter page start to kick and we're also back to you know. Hi My question. To run as a nonprofit and not as a double right but in the bottom line how do you think they were sent to the root of growth in terms of impact. Profit. I think that's really. I don't know we haven't pursued that we go. I think right now having just received the forty million dollars. That's not something that I suspect would have happened from a nonprofit. That's going to really help us to help I am shocked I did a sign that your capitalists will say that the biggest for the biggest companies are the biggest impacts they've seen him out as been Google which is a for profit because they know about access to knowledge in ways that most non-profits could or would dream of. But I also strongly believe in the power of nonprofits the foundation I worked on I supported social entrepreneurs like keep missions failing and others so I think it was a magnet just if I was trying to write a play but I couldn't. Keep it out of the question and it's a very interesting one. Or. Two questions the first. Such. People would stop. That from happening say. That literally five minutes apart from us that have run. In the kind of filing space and. Time of any specific topic so you mention Kickstarter they're focused on creative initiatives and they are for countries there's a revolution focused on nonprofits because I was focused on a different topic it wasn't just refuse it we were going to that is completely open and what they were doing was the curated model where they're selecting campaigns that a specific topic A and then promoting those I would go to more like the group have come forward to the world it's actually really hard challenge so what we're doing is having to figure out what the go factor algorithm is constantly put on it and then use that from the campaigns that we promote So it's actually a totally different situation if you go it brings the crowd to your work it empowers the crowd that I see right there we have ridiculous a customer support and knowledge and resources. I don't have a minute differences if you want to talk later but the second question mistakes I want you to keep mistakes I see the most. Launching a campaign that's all about your product or your idea and without focusing on you so ready to say you do this because I want to make a difference but saying why do you want to make a difference over people who are making a difference for people who are starting something new so you prove you are a good person and siphoned the video I do second is not staying engaged the people think you really. Are the kind of thing was like when the robbery movies are true for you is activity out of work and you have to stay right and just say it's really about learning from a campaign I haven't worked in a venture before my see the greatest confidence much like the greatest entrepreneur I see the ones who see the mission but the facts want to get to it and the wrong way. So you soon have to. The funding comes and you the each member being one of the dome and one of the only. Going to come back. Mr. Sawyer said as rude as the most formidable can start a campaign at a time so you could imagine a little of your current campaign which is not advisable because it's better to direct all of your momentum to one computer but you could do it or you can watch a campaign after the campaign. Stopped and see if people like the idea of a campaign where they live from that experience whether they've had the good and not for example that. Fellowship in that race tribe may want to trace thirty two million were turned out I mean to the contributor as they were the time they're getting. Into and out of the debt before I would not be surprised if we see them run either campaign in the future and when they come up with a new version of their fellow product to sell more stuff from what we see is people taking the time to read it I think they're doing that much of a campaign but it's quite frequent for people to watch what's for campaigns especially once you've delivered on your products and profile what you said you were going to do I mean the way I do it is can actually become your closest community for your second campaign which enables you to have to have as Michele much time as it out OK And our campaign over. Never. Come.
