I also want to thank the literally teams of people both here and in Washington who have been of incredible assistance in doing this. Dr Adam Stolberg from whom you will hear later has been the chief coordinator on our faculty. But the staff and our students who you have seen many today have been absolutely instrumental in putting it together. I'm also pleased as the topic has moved from energy as a source of Commerce to now an energy and with significant political implications that we have with us today. The ambassador from outer by John ambassadorial Onselen off is here with this and we also have Dr almost sold off who is the chair of the Caspian Center for Energy and Environment at the Azerbaijan diplomatic a cat think the Georgia Tech of Azerbaijan and it is important to understand that these challenges are really presenting in real time a combined effort at looking at what are the efficiency the environmental issues and frankly the political ramifications so we will have a grand panel today to discuss this and I would like on behalf of the Georgia Tech Institute to welcome to the podium to give you his remarks and welcome the Executive Vice Pres. I want to know if it's my own or really to introduce Senator Nunn. Who will introduce the secretary and like it was said last night in the inner We had a it's one of those few people that really do not require much introduction. But every time I read and give me. They give me information about him more and more amazed this kind of first serve in the Senate for twenty four years he was described then as the workhorse work course of the Senate. I must say in many ways is the workhorse of the nation on the world. He never stops literally physically we go see exercises every morning as well as working for the benefit of society. Very impressive as you know he is a very well known for his work on on security at the he was chairman of the Armed Forces Services Committee. A non-lawyer called parity of threat reduction program that word to. Sort of eliminate the threat of nuclear weapons out of the former Russian republics a mid-list will say I have to remind you of it particularly relevant of this moment and I missed something that we are all grateful for the work that the senator has done he continues that work after he left the center saying that his core chairman and chief executive that no player thread in each of the of the nonprofit nonpartisan organization to reduce the global threat to nuclear biological and chemical weapons. He's also chairman of the board of the Center of Strategic and International Studies in Washington. And the group's seven revolution project it identifies as a key policy challenge yes but the policy makers business figure channelers be there's most a year twenty twenty five here I think where parties are grateful that we buy our His name and on are him with the School of International Affairs. It's also this thing which professor here. Well he focus of the Bank of America for him for many years of not and for the last few years only at your death a corporation we thank the Bank of America. And the senator for his own system. There comes to them an interest in this great great act the Senator Nunn was on our and I want to really emphasize this because it's taken very seriously here. With Ivan Island doing your prize for social car which in fact he was the first recipient of that international price. While your dad takes Georgia and of land that they very seriously because even on Earth an extraordinary man. We saw there are extraordinary. People. That half shell corporation everything else. And certainly sent up for non of them so. Let me end with a few personal comments of two intervals a senator. I've been here for years almost four years. Not quite. And certainly one of my greatest pleasures of being here has been to get to know that Senator. Reasonably well we live in the same place that we see each other all the time we have periodic breakfasts and like I say in those one hour breakfast we talk about every problem in the world and every possible solution. And they outstanding saying to me is that he's actually doing something about them and solving many of those problems is I always leave out of those hours very very inspired to go ahead. And he's certainly an inspiration. So without further ado and I think it will lot operation. Let me introduce what in GEORGE Yeah. Impressive credentials of the moment his list of say troubles me chills father.
