Now no word of what is your program that happened in your home while all kinds of other it's a great place to study was. Not your last visit. Some people were with us in this whole wide that goes off while we're here with us today and our eyes like to introduce Jennifer Campbell. She works with the majors and also the people who work with the undergraduate research program Dr Chris three. Prior. To this. Is yes universities are very literate and. They're. Here today will be kind of introducing themselves about what they've done here. And basically what we've been so helpful. With their story here so I'd like to. Shoot. For. A good cigar. They're going to kind of introduce themselves by telling what they are but there are some of the nimble. Highlighting shoving there's a I'm a thirty year chemical by like you and your insulin. Handler living there your psychology. Hi My name is Jacob. I actually graduated Summerson master so you know. There's someone. On here and I'm here. For you what. My minor and. OK tell it was first armed law from Georgia from GA. GA I was out what kinds of active involvement. In your. House so I believe over the number of activities I'm currently P.-L. unhandsome I need to know the one to one tutoring program I've just done the whole area here I did undergrad research last summer after that hear a word I am I with a number of facts a captain which is my job is to raise money for that's it and that and I was also a vessel leader here for that so I'm also very good. Things I am all there are my dreams are he send me I'm giving Bob and me are the help and they're going and I think right here you know and you know. I'm in a vault in Georgetown. And as a volunteer right now I like international organizations have something else extra You see. Them both he this I believe I think I'm hearing you. And I'm also a little shyly as though there beside the surgeons. Yes So in my many years surgeries I got all the things I actually came in as a student athlete so I was on some dive team for two years and that was pretty much my life outside of school so I was about I think my sophomore or first or software and then after that I got involved in crazy for you know sports so I got all this yeah I was you know senior class president there I got most in foundation on the board of trustees George X. you know Master nationals I like and you know and quite a few other students I struck at this also I'm Greek and I also work on campus as a tutor and I don't understand search parties and every. Well I started my sophomore year as a sinister and often department of marketing as a lead off as a special events and so. Most notably the graduations is another cause you know that as well as. I did a lot of us in organizations my first here is a freshman leadership organization and I'm also on the scene Advisory Board what I call it. And also. By the other side of the site that I've done to internships in the past year. To do my major animals and. This is. Like. A. Wall. And there are things that. I don't. Do sports years and my life like that but some of the things that happened that. Have helped. Change. This. I would say and especially the semester I mean in my last year especially you know like the work experience I have in the US I feel like I'm a lot more devoted to my studies and of course when I took this long to really get to the point where I care a lot more about rooting for mission other than just constant attacks and you know. I've done what I have to see where I needed to remember something that I didn't buy us from previous causes fires were such that when there are more recent things I really sort of. Realize and see play out from my stance. Also. From us through the system. I hide where they are areas across campus and time management is a big thing that I learned I that I was a little bit up from my school but here you have your hours during the day are very you know I think as a loving God I think all of you guys in here are learning about things I think that's a great step I'm taking advantage of resources that I'm different avenues like our free time and you know I said you know. What I like. To have you know experience. So they go I start him innocently and I have to admit like when I first came in for the second story I was the exact there's no I'm your guy that plays like Crazy Heart Out really work I was really really worried and then I was like Do not let It's also so what's the how am I going to do this and I you know I was I was very scared coming in but what I found about legs my first of years was it really put a rigorous schedule so you know practice three hours a day of this one year that's going on and I really like the program my schedule where you know you get a lot of free time you start relaxing with other layer on stuff but when I had something going on those are not the song outs and I practice there to really help me in that time and I suspect I think that's what I was going to mention with activities like you know after I gave up for it's I was like All right I did twenty hours a week sports I got twenty hours we could be something else so I started looking for something to get involved with and I think that's what I've done I think other things outside of school really helps you structure your schedule and I think it makes you a more proactive mission want to sort of you know kind of get lazy and sit back in the bed and be I think really something that's a big that's a way also I think that a lot of things you learn in a moment can be transferred whether it be known classes with your projects how to be a leader home Additionally you know you start getting a little older it's really good to have leadership and things like that because it transitions in the workplace and it kind of helps you get interviews talk to companies that are really looking for that well rounded you know. So did you just this. I think it was OK so. It wasn't so it was actually a software chip in. The business he's I was in power for driving which I know I was this framework diversions from. But I do not buckle down and I was doing my final dive of the season over me and I. Actually had both my heels on but I couldn't walk for a little while her pretty bad but literally but they're putting us up so you know I was coming out of his own way I was already pretty bad so that's where I come in my transition some of what it's done. Well just kind of like you know what they're saying about the involvement of all different areas and they don't like health events I mean they have high school or high a little sense of time but there's I just want every game and it's something that really helped me learn how to deal what is to me not like long term goals but also daily goals and that's really help me out with managing my time as I make a list every single day of what I need to get done today that's helping you work or it's nicer goals or you're my whole thing I think the easier said I do have those three moments during the day I can look my listeners check things often feel hopeless to you I'm so it's always going to have something that I've loved about being involved in here there's a century how does he have such a diverse campus and being involved in these different kinds of people listening different backgrounds and interests and beliefs and it just really helped me grow as a person might be about either and also does a better like member of the you very real and. Also just leadership positions in my story and said work here in that house and real has given me a deeper sense of accountability and responsibility realizing that when I people of the right. I'm in charge of or if I die. And I've just learned how to be really responsible for everything that he'll make sure that what I'm doing is a positive reflection of the organization that represents the work. The people that work so. I need to be that will Hearst but. I'm still the kid in high school who is like I got on my head that I've ratted out and then I got involved I can't visit and boy do you got to write stuff down but she was assignments and stuff you'll find that you progress your courses you'll start having a lot more to do especially in terms of group work and being involved has really helped me organize my work my group work times and just meetings in general honestly aside from that experience I gained in terms of undergraduate research to seeing the stuff the way possible by and I know what you're doing it's really warm and kind of gives you a reason to learn that stuff began with. The council or people but it didn't come. As for involvement in terms of leadership is invaluable when it comes to group meetings having at least one person who's going to step up and take charge is really beneficial in terms of getting things done you'll find that if you're a good leader your group will be more efficient as long as you have someone who kind of got us. One of the things about the ship that I'm sure. Comes your senior year on television leadership is one that every organisation you know about and leadership isn't just joined. A member but it's like something. It's pretty and so one of the things to keep in mind and go along with what might happen what. What what what is shown that. And how is your variance taking on more. And what do you that. I have for you have not I don't know just being someone who's very involved I tend to say yes but what would you got like one of the first yes one is want to say one you know you can't take something on when you know you already have too much on your plate yet people say hey you know I might be some help with this and reach out. For me that I've been a little bit last night step in terms of with classes and balancing my hope that specially coming up as a cabinet is a very large time commitment but possibly the best actor tributaries have ever hired that being said I was overwhelmed at times and how much work I had and it came down to me just what he my neighbors know that hey I need some help with this where can you you know how can do this really just kind of like your teammates will but you will need that help. I guess and I'm not saying that I was my first time I realize and just sort of shocked by how to accept that whatever you decide you like by being here you're saying that isn't enough I got some of that like opportunity and so I realized in my You'll have to say no to something and here's something else a new thing that I did grasp and let me just not say yes I guess and say I'm just picking the thing that's going to be best for you and what you enjoy most and also you know you are and this is where you say yes and I learned that balancing your own life here. Is a word that one scene although. I would agree here I think there's something like four hundred. Or. So yeah there's always something. And serving up that is so much what you know is out there what you want to do what you're passionate about you know that that it's all about like leaving an impact. The legacy of finals or is it you care about all you know in my bowmen there was a couple years ago actually I was the president of the tourney and I was surprised by the fresh air that was a moment for the organization and it was crazy absolutely just the craziness on top of that I might have been taken singers on and I had a lot going on the fire fellowships. So you know I think what I found too is it's really easy to like this and say yes. And it's not because you know you don't want to say no it's like everything such a great opportunity there's so many cool things happening so it is a balance of what I'm going to say no but I want to sleep probably going to stretch yourself further and I think the best piece of advice I knew from people there is support so I think that as I get involved more more things especially the love one hour come our way out and there are things going on I have a lot of Menzies and I want people a lot of friends who are kind of my support network so as I over more myself as I get these amazing opportunities you know there's an organization and I just can't do certain things I have friends so I can kind of in the house for help there but also give them the history of the opportunity from leadership and opportunity is really building so I would say I will support her because you start to get really involved here socially because it's really something. You know and I think when aspect of leadership that I really grasped was actually in leadership positions like you know this was my high delegate responsibilities to your numbers I think it's intended hundred sixty Minutes he'll step up until you're sure as shit and want to do that every single aspect of that decision like all the work and just say that you did it he got done it I know that's not always possible all the time myself last Mr Just a little bit overwhelmed about it great responsibilities I hide it it's an awesome between Jesus and what networks and he'll. Learn how to delegate responsibility and kind of manage other people I think. That's an aspect of leadership that I really didn't realize he did or. Was that important but that's something definitely my experience it's been that I. Have a question what are the. One. On your wrists when did you learn when they should learn to use them and they are all so how did you get. Your recommendation letters from group and so. Faculty the resources to do so how did you get to know the officers and. When did you. Know. So for me I have been heavily involved in the student software programs office that's office that runs fast basically So for the last year they've helped me develop a number of skills public speaking just resume building things in general and I've even learned something not as a business negotiation skills just because I do make deals with companies I was a darts to sponsorships. I wish I had got involved early or with undergraduate research I started only last year with that but I actually get started as a freshman just you know professors that's what I did I don't think it would work but they're really just email them and you ask Mark about obsession it goes a long way just to show that you're interested and she described that interest. And that's an invaluable resource getting to know professor a personal basis I don't be afraid to talk to them because you'll find that they're very like very much willing to get to know you. The same goes for administration as well geez love talking to students. And I realize not terms how they really do my interests. And there are so many different resources on campus that try. Very nice for you still hang out and get freshman tutoring in that nothing door or whatever her calculus freshman year and. You know they're every week regardless that I feel good about material and I just to make sure that I had everything in the control of my thoughts it does often that really help me out a life I miss completely free and they're just waiting for you to go ask questions I think is awesome I just want to give you I think every sources that drugs have provides also specifically the freshman. Also deftly just talking to your professors going off hours I feel like people say all the time by a really does Hello I'm something I mean to you that would make a huge difference and I great things my service I just got my progressing out then you know what are they looking for I mean in it a student or what have they seen in the past that since you gave have done had to do well and right as I said you know how are they writing their tasks What are they looking for as far as information that we need to know about right there just make a difference in my grade drops and leave it is that ten fifteen minutes. And also by just showing them they actually care about Ariel and why do you well it's awesome for building a foundation with a relationship with your professor so just simply going out the series has been wonderful. So there are a bit of no false minority of no moment and I was into their more years of them and for this. And I mean that's a great office because you know Richard so many things you really love resisted I'm some great initiatives they have. Suits on campus to be successful so that's a resource I would say down to one seven two I typed into all this I come from high school what is it to who gets to know what do you come across the bottom is part of people whatever so it's like what I need to know right now true there is the times to listen are the people of love allow you to understand a four hour concept in an hour and that's where the fun is you're here if you think you don't want bus driver to because there's somebody you don't know. And as opposed to sitting there and spinning your wheels for two hours you could have somebody come to work for that fifteen minutes and that's an hour forty five minutes you know basketball you fall asleep you know being I mean there's nothing really to do that are so that's a that's a really big piece of advice that something I learned a lot and he is also something you take last year on to there's probably a good thirty I think any of us present or regular people have been asked a lot of classes and getting there is using it on a personal level and again on a professional level and getting help from getting over Vespers I guess my way to kind of kids and professors is off so that's one way. I've actually got to ask professors questions and I mean it's just like I talk to just like you go talk Marcus or and how to doctors I mean go ask questions and if you have questions go ask about provoking some things that kind of push in love but you kind of have an answer to what you'd like to really see them push one step further and if you really really want to supervise what you're really excited to talk to you as a mother it's going to revise or said you know I'm interested in blah blah blah and I see your research is in this I just kind of want to know as more I see what you're doing and just learn more about the area and deliver has to be really exciting I do you can really build a relationship there I think the best way in general professor who might is the relation of our common sort of you know come with that that come here that you want to talk about the really of you bill their leadership itself that are and of your mission really leverage throughout the class and I don't for myself five six seven eight years down the line when the recommendations are just. Like I'm the one missing and I'm not hearing my dad into the ground that day and I was on him and other offices too that pays you to go be available guys like one to you know you guys all the time I that's right here on the street she also knew how to hack and that they're there and they're hands it has to be available so just look at what you have a set of hours a year. It's over for that but that's not something coming in because there's very. Little buzz. And the other thing that I would say about professors there is the duckling that are missing about this hours I ask them for advice about my field for me and I feel very home and they are the feeling that way getting in here causes to fail and the bastards his advice I got by just going to the office hours he said don't focus on the region too soon because I'm all of us financial I want to travel out of America and everything and he was like Don't focus too narrowly as such your age and I think help me get some of the interest of especially by Howard and other things and just you know also look we're saving his Here concerts various I wasn't there to doubt everything else that was there you know Spanish the country set up with that and also study abroad programs one thing that you can really get close to professors and that's what I did while I was here I did two different Georgia Tech programs which. You know when you're deciding what to you whether enrolling in a different universe you're going to program one positive about going with us or I think it's you know you really well I went with actually the chair of the undergraduate program for my school and he's written all of my recommendation letters for Professor thing and he knows it really well and knows how it works and saw you really end up in a high intensity situation in another country and so I thought that was a well I'm going. To mention. One other level initiation here was that you actually know this is you know deans sign that you know is it is really is a city it is wonderful I looked on the story of my freshman year I took it my children canvas and it was that it was a bill and everything and I later that day to sign Chris Lee called me to make sure that I was OK to make sure that I was been given to just back well into my classes and if I need any help really. Getting my day in the sunlight they are right and right in the eyes of those wonderful if. That's anything that might you that you have are right and if you really realize then that station here they are still kids and they are here every. Night on the good I totally forgot so he runs. Something I I am the one thing I did not do was here yesterday and that is by far one thing of which. I've been lucky but it's either getting a professor I've been able to build up the research I want to go for ten days on a research or of the Panama City Panama Canal something's going on there and I've been to Greece for a conference so I mean you are and that's all through you know kind of being able to talk professors It's no opportunities that are available to my major things like that so just get a car you get a brother is a writer find the sort of money or study abroad do it it will change everything really and a great resource not in our time off but at my house and I think he's And we have him as he's there to go through all the options and you superior to know when to start making one buys and then walk through everything I'm up here myself I he and I don't talk to one another about my experience and we're going to let you know we're going the website and they're all like I've heard you here I was I actually was up every night why not I think I did the. Result program and then also the real. Thing. You just said you know I didn't say you Bryan. But I have an idea that you regret I want to box done by the start. Of this love not what you really think that was like I have a right. What I'm going to say more about what. I wish on the phone I'm going to ask her for help and her. Research person is free to say what I wish for you with their words but I'm a profiler ships and most of the time people think OK that's my senior hero thinking about right her far from whatever Well first of all there are Goldwater's people in America science that know engineering and some people are. So don't know what. You're talking about. Find out what's available. And not make him a curious and you're not going to be applying for Goldwater but you might be thinking about writers here and I want to know what can I do along the way to get ready so I'm ready to apply. So that's what I wish to know you know. Pretty well. I think for me it would be. Once again I want to reiterate getting to your battles members early It's always heartbreaking when I have my high achieving applicants medical school to have a four point zero G.P.A. A three eighty Yes yes it is possible interesting to me that he's on and then I say well tell me about your letters of highways and bridges coming from and I don't well I didn't ever get office hours and I was doing well in my classes and you know I think that kind of what you know Jacob said just going in showing interest in your professors research that's the group which is going to start making now on what I'm going to tell my students is that medicine is in the groups was a lifestyle choice that lifestyle service kind of early on so you always you kind of start this new yourself or OK as a freshman our high to medical school of you know my freshman year which really does happen on what are things that I would need to work on this year out. Sensitivity balls for yourself to hold yourself accountable for that really the letters of evaluation Don't wait until your junior senior year gets a faculty because you know as I'm not that was mentioned there are allegations that scholarship opportunities I here want to be here let's take advantage of those things then I think she has time lines that are really coming instead of just yes if you assume that my giving chemistry classes seemed nice you let me have a place and let me know that's not going to mean you. Heard from a freshman we have right now looking at the door I knew we should rush right here about undergraduate research Well that's kind of reiterating what everybody said it's really it's never too early to start looking that's why that's one thing you should do should approach back a lot of students even overseas are intimidated approach back a lot of times but times tell your story I was talking to the chair of the park one time use Department top five federal funding dollars fund at all to me and I was actually asking him what do you want to student to go to last full time students and life and he said I said you want certainty vs a certain you're in school skills all this stuff is like I don't care what you like about this he said what I want is a student that shows up gets along with other people live and has a passion for the war so that's really all that matter you all have those characteristics or you would be open to the devil you can get along with other people and you have an energy for the works that's really all that matters so if you have those characteristics which you do you should be intimidated approach that we've talked about but getting involved in research because that's one of the you like is that experience and what you get in research is that experience so I would certainly And I'll bet over half of you already have grad school plans so if you're going to go to grad school you look at. You have to get beyond your own bastards that he needed to get involved in research into other activities because this is what you were talking about we go to grad school when you. To buffer jobs we talk about these experiences that you have going to talk about I said in biology one of whatever we talk about these experiences so that's what that's one thing to make sure Bill and you read through to research this on the research your research university the budget George takes one point two billion dollars half of that research so you really miss a goal option. And. I ask. You about. Some. Family. Part of your life are you worried about. Your life what you wish you. Know that you would like that would you I'm surprised question I don't want to get it. Yeah there is going to change things because I have when you go to college all the sudden you go from. Being at home and being used to being then you know it's up to being busy and like being like you this is probably your parents might start calling you as opposed to you have to call your parents all the time so you know hey what's going on we haven't talked you know we will very well I mean I want to particularly because you're out there in the study and you're having fun so I think the vice there is just you know things are going to change and can bounce it's really easy to get here and you know so having academics or even soak up and having fun or get so caught up in all and you know I was I think as I'm now for you get so caught up in a way to think about what I really care about what I value like his family something I really care about I have friends who get good grades are pretty involved and go home every weekend because I really want to spend time with my friends great great Super Bowl ever talk to you know. Friends or family but I mean it's all about what you value there's no right way to do it but what it is either I know and structuring a lifestyle you're running or really you know also you don't turn around the next train and you're way too low and you have time for yourself you know your time your friends I was present very joyous to my friends of the universe and you know he's talking to him so that about that now and structure of the thing you want to do around which you know. It's firing socially entrance type something to keep in mind that I really wish I was a freshman was I don't know yourself that there's the school has such wonderful students and they're all you know everyone's going places and intelligent everyone's law. Everyone's competitive and I feel like a lot of times that can kind of I was you can kind of get your head sometimes and I think I'm going to let all that he'll kind of freaking out freshman year just be like you know I'm not his fault as he is or she is that or green and I you know he. Was even wanted like he said socially and else agrees the same time and just kind of like honestly compare myself to others and I'll drive you crazy. And that's something that I wish I knew I believe the fun for it all just then I go that's it you kind of leave them here self other self I just figure out what's important he'll figure out what your values are and make sure you stay grounded in that and don't be afraid to grow because college and the like is enough time for you to you know just learn more about yourself or out you know what your actions and what you want to one day I don't be afraid of that change but at least stay grounded and make sure that you're not worried about everyone else is changing in time. To read the Don't put yourself in your life in the dark but sometimes when you get so involved you forget about yourself where you just don't just leave or you know you're like I'll do that. Later I could see two three hours which I tried and it doesn't work out and don't forget your relationships either callers about the fragile baby and just getting to know people or those experiences that you have out that growth comes from those experiences and I found myself for example but I stopped for my mom I got there you'll still have called for get out but just make sure you say hi to the parents and don't lose you know how to their friends say touch with them for sure as those great experiences they have called as well I think some of my things that are in your life you know where you really like surround yourself with people that are going to help you actually support you like you better you know and really follow them when you know they're there and. We. Don't. Have. Any people in the room had anything to say at all so. Don't be shy professor. Just. Hold it thirty years in your. Brain should organisations are going to. Push these are. Very. Close very rigorous They're actually I have a question for you you might come to this today what are you interested in learning something about that you might want to ask about question. Just sort of your own remarks you know. I'm. Just hearing every. Over. If you are right here. Look. I don't hate him but I think that first me when I don't feel sick I know you'll stop with all the air can you life where you're taking a hands it's rough bad one. I've gotten the worst fear in a car that I should have because I took a bus knowing that I'm not a morning person and I said you know what I can do it. Right. Now let's end this guy don't sacrifice the guys so far somehow that higher getting things straight I don't work on tests because I let you. Get rid of I never will know and I never I won't I refused and I think actually if you talk to some of the most high performing students at the school it was like you know. And I think the book was like they don't have their full and want to do crazy stuff I'm not for class maybe other things but if you're poor dieters. Something sums are right and it's not enough you need to sleep if you're an engineer whatever your problems are problems so you can't think you're just trying to go to look at all my son so I know I'm going on the right for some reason I felt that I work better at night and I'm like yeah this is fine without lights night I'll certainly. Never And that's not true thank you very very during the day when you're shocked that when you're awake I don't know why I was so fine like to Michael late at night but I can fly better or find I mean I'm a spirit I just think that trying to type that night I'm like everyone like hey we're all going home either live or here we got really really nothing Terry Neville one. Of us that. Night and you can ask people questions that I Professor Don't answer email right twelve o'clock so horrible you know doing something very hard after any funds you run through the five of us are as opposed to saying up of three on that one problem that's. I don't see what I find more effective is one where you had started early but if you get to the point where the night before actually sleeping for a little bit is one wake up fresh and that's where I get up maybe two or three hours earlier to finish something if I get the position rather than stable I do it because I will be able to hold back every measure that it will cause. Some people are now planning their land plan plan other people are and I would guess if you are not a natural or were killed because I was certain. That you thought. I wish but. What is. Right for Your groups organization. The list that I was. Already. I would say that national right leadership organization here you don't have to do letters or whatever there is I know. That's not the only route making the most worth I just like the last four years that's up from. There over and then you know you're somewhere else but if i have i look like I have done I've got this and it's like tears upon itself and somehow nationalised period like for a minute when you hear that I'm going to talk about that and I'm going to talk like that and not watch me for the engines have you know the side organization you have something to put on an obligation stuff so first and organizations know your common experience in college so you know really what are your abilities. So I say start. With. The same thing I was told the flow and. The vibes that floated over America for faster come here and for. The people richer or not the good with us got to soften that facet I absolutely love that something I'm super hash no doubt and has really shaped a lot of my experiences after doing just being a fast leader and I have no doubt he wants for the summer especially just causes. On the ice for he. Was kind of this is a situation that your mayor has and I saw I was involved in the House for its time and so I didn't have time for as many organizations. Throughout high school and so when I came to college and I wanted those leadership positions in mind if you call up I was scared to fly so I actually didn't get as involved my freshman year because I was just like afraid of rejection I think it was just your life or if i'm just because I was really curious and I hear you and I forgive you know part of my story has really pushed me out of my comfort zone and pretty much every sense of the word was an awesome way and I'm one of those places just getting me to apply for different things I hold most leadership positions and race for a year and having that support group for me I'm trying to step up and build the skills within that context it's really helped me to apply to other things outside of race for him to be the balls and there's also multiple other aspects of it that that wonderful but not from his religious divide will just my group of friends that are encouraging myself to you. Or that's really the in my experience like. Myself I was one of the first shot where you're in the four of them but. Sort of getting a turn to join overturned later and turning and that was a great opportunity just one. I spoke about that the support groups for that work I was a great you know for never just national Bill Blair called my brother and I had their people who were kind of pushing in the direction of the organization often a more tangible organization they were very. Very biased but a student Foundation is really going ization they have a full impression Foundation they have a number of other committees. You know we talk a lot of very interested in our for a while so I know what the organization you're interested in these pacifically really was revising their look on line in the in the directory there are many names that start to say I'm no I mean they don't mean them to play and it sounds easy but out yeah sue modish of the great line Georgia Tech student after coming over here that's really as she as she is really great or is it you know both of them it really gives you a pulse of everything going on campus that way after freshman year you know you can you can really know where you might want to go and what have you run for first representative which I think you know a lot of housework or getting involved in a committee and there are so many committees you find something you're interested in whether the sustainability campus safety all types. And the river ization. It's. All set to get your interest so you really really really so there's four hundred eighty organisations if you like painting shoes and that's as far as I can paint shoes there's an organisation where they paint tongs once here and do this it's like everything here is that lasagna very special there is anything I mean it's probably a girl I'm going to have ice in your book I mean if you're interested in anything like really you can find the musician ever as I was I do think. That they have an image. For National Science Foundation Research you're here all right Mark. And that are in line with that line rather easily programs. You're still area knowledge and. Their experience is all of. Your. Look at our. Hands. Over. The top of it after my sophomore year I had a perfect gene here and I couldn't find the right one I mean are you and that was something so our use a great opportunity is like in a very better job market check out something else for him all I get paid is a lot of college campuses your research so it's a great opportunity I have a lot of fun doing it and I live it's just. One more part of us of the you didn't do that we should have done this or was that. I mean I put it that way I'm. Thinking you read it. Honestly everything that I've got involved with I've enjoyed there are plenty of organizations that I'm in that list that you know you just had to join but never really go back to after a while and that will have been honestly just one of those you're passionate about is to those you'll find that you'll be more willing to commit to that and go further in terms of leadership of those. That like we're glad regret wasting time you know like join the one that you know that you need posh and I actually meant to run into one organization is a sort of club that is going to be you know I want to meet me but you never for his feelings that's one hour a week that you haven't pointed to something else I guess. There wasn't a number there or there's not a it's a clear separation and because somebody asked me to I wasn't religious and I know there's one place and that your I.Q. must drop the ball that was a lockbox priority in the meantime for that moment and so I say there's an experience for me where I kind of there's something I wasn't passionate about I didn't really want to do but I let myself. Yes I think we see something that I regret as a moment somewhere in. My career that I knew I was about five spending time there and I think I was just like afraid to use a little you know something but not it's really I had to leave an organization things realize that I didn't have time for it and I was just writing about it and I you know the exact Just like I sorry like your easy just wonderful that I still I'm going to stand on it was awesome like I'm still friends of those people and they're like healing things when you know like it's no holiday. So don't be afraid to be a link to an organization that this isn't the best of. Your life you know you're in a better home to let them know that yes it does appear. That you know than those that you fell in love with I know I was in a room was or I'm going to be. The fastest as a ski really cares about students this class isn't easy but it's definitely one way to learn a lot. And just pretty much pressure on those times I really care about but here Greg we have inducted rebuilds fights for transport one he really cares about students' lives. Just for the teachers that offer those actually office hours and offer all these are properties to actually learn that here you know don't think that they're trying to give you more hard material we're just trying to get you to work they care about your life. Is that you're right hello to my class. And I was going to just ask friends for shots and professors that's what. I think people always advise. Me and I think that I think are all right just like suppression as a doctor patient where doctor doctor Greco your physics of writing and the like and say that you are. Dr John Morris. I think it's wonderful to hear that with an awful there are so many teachers that if I had the guts or office hours of time like I would have no idea there are so help you out. I hired a doctor shop lawyer helping out the semester after I'd taken her classes her office her singing out of my you know what I did as a processor and there's something like this that you really just have to tap into and you invest in the religion of this little girl or. This office and there's something. With your. Cards but like you. And. Me.
