Abstract
In this work, graphene was functionalized by different redox-active molecules. The synthesized materials were fabricated into electrodes for supercapacitors. Electrochemical tests were used to evaluate the specific capacitance and cycling stability. The electrodes were tested with both aqueous and gel electrolyte. The benzoquinone-functionalized graphene electrodes have shown evidences for pseudocapacitance.
