Description
This course is designed to introduce students to the social, political, economic, and cultural forces that influence social behavior by exploring health, illness, and health care from a sociological perspective. The purpose of the project is to encourage students to think critically about the role of society in shaping the experience of illness through a deeper analysis of a person (or caregiver) who has experienced a brain-based condition or injury.
