Abstract
The European Union Center of Excellence at Georgia Tech was honored to welcome Ambassador Klaus Scharioth of Germany and Ambassador Pierre Vimont of France to the Georgia Tech campus for a discussion of the state of the EU and EU-US relations as we enter a new decade. The Ambassadors shared their views on the implications of the Lisbon Treaty for the European Union and the transatlantic relationship. The talk will was moderated by Dr. Vicki Birchfield, Director of the EU Center of Excellence, and was followed by a question and answer session with the audience.
