Abstract
In-situ resource utilization (ISRU) of lunar regolith is examined using concentrated solar irradiation to carry out thermochemical or thermal conversion processes. The analysis includes thermodynamic modeling validated by experimental data. The goal of this work is to create a framework for the ISRU production of resources including water, oxygen, and other raw materials.
