Abstract
The Georgia Tech City Planning Studio under the direction of Professors Steven French and Douglas Allen developed three distinctly different development scenarios for the South Fulton Parkway corridor. These alternatives scenarios were shaped by market opportunities and environmental constraints defined during the initial phase of work. Each scenario was designed to accommodate most of the development projected by the Atlanta Regional Commission within South Fulton County. The three scenarios were entitled Full Build-out, Rural Preservation and the Villages. Each of these will be discussed in more detail in this report. Development consequences of each scenario were analyzed with respect to the goals expressed by the South Fulton Parkway Alliance and the Fulton County comprehensive plan.
