dc.description.abstract Several technologies offer potential for large energy savings; however, there is a difference between technological potential and actual market behavior, called energy efficiency gap . In this research, Diffusion of Innovations is applied as a framework to understand the process of technology adoption decision making by homeowners in a home retrofit program. The result may help policy makers in addressing this gap in the residential sector. en_US
