Abstract
This special event offers a unique opportunity to delve into the intersection of art, science, and technology through the lens of Ginn's creative journey. Renowned for her ethereal and thought-provoking installations, Ginn will present her latest body of work developed during her residency at Georgia Tech. Her art, which fuses elements of digital media, biology, and immersive environments, explores themes of wellness, sustainability, and the human experience in the digital age. Harnessing the new technology of the Interactive Media Zone, Ginn has created a multimedia installation. Attendees will not only hear from Ginn about her artistic process and the conceptual underpinnings of her work, but will also have the chance to interact with the pieces she has created. This artist residency is jointly sponsored by the Georgia Tech Library and the Interdisciplinary Media Arts Center, with support from the Price Gilbert Charitable Foundation.
