dc.description | Tom Wilson is currently the Associate Dean for Library Technology at the University of Alabama Libraries. He has over 20 years of experience in developing, implementing, maintaining, and retiring information technology in libraries and higher education. In those years, Tom has overseen many small to multi-million dollar projects and managed annual budgets up to $8M. Employed by three major public universities during this period, he led IT units of up to 35 professionals. The Library and Information Technology Association elected him President in 2003/2004, and he has written and spoken on IT and library topics extensively. | en_US |
