Abstract
Publications on science, technology and innovation (STI) policy have increased recently. Analysing citations in UK policy documents (1990-2010), this paper notes the institutions, authors, and journals. Four policy fields are then compared, and differences outlined. The STI field sees high citation levels for academic authors and think-tanks.
