dc.description.abstract In this talk I will provide an overview of ways in which computational molecular science is able to contribute to mechanistic understanding as well as raising new questions and suggesting new approaches in diverse areas of technology. The two specific application areas considered are short-strand RNA delivery for gene therapy and quantum mediated kinetic sieving of molecular isotopes of hydrogen. en_US
