dc.description.abstract What is the state of current research on retrofitting suburbia and what are some of the research questions and new tools that are on the horizon? This presentation begins with an overview of the author's work to date with June Williamson on urban design strategies for re-inhabiting, redeveloping and regreening underperforming suburban properties into more sustainable places. It follows with discussion of the many opportunities for scaling up these strategies and developing more robust databases and performance metrics in future interdisciplinary collaborations. en_US
