Abstract
While the invention process has drawn an enormous attention, people who generate them inventors have received little attention so far. Using a newly compiled dataset of Swedish inventors that combines patent database and individual demographics, we examine various demographic attributes of inventors (e.g. age, gender, education, organizational affiliation, and nationality).
