Abstract
Focusing on real-world library applications, this session will demonstrate how Open Source software (i.e. MySQL/PHP) can be used to efficiently and cost-effectively develop innovative content management systems, URL reference databases and related web-based information portals. The session will demonstrate working modules, highlight important development resources and offer practical, introductory guidance in this exciting area.
