Abstract
This study examines how micromobility services—specifically shared bicycles and e-scooters—can enhance first- and last-mile (FM/LM) connectivity to public transit and improve access to employment opportunities in the Atlanta metropolitan region. Although micromobility has gained recognition as a flexible multimodal solution, important uncertainties remain regarding how different modes compare in terms of spatial availability, accessibility improvements, and equity outcomes across neighborhoods with varying socioeconomic conditions.
