Abstract
The Innovative Manufacturing, Operation, and Certification of Advanced Structures for Civil Vertical Lift Vehicles (IMOCAS) team has developed a framework and baseline innovative operational analysis tool, known as the System for Operational Analysis of Rotorcraft (SOAR). SOAR will monitor and assess important information about a rotorcraft-based vehicle's flight operation, including granular representation of the obstacles (cities) and micro-environment through which each flight is flown. SOAR can be used for vertiport siting, route planning, flight analysis (ride, loads), structural lifecycle (fatigue), repairs and safety. The software is in Python, includes a graphical user interface and includes manuals.
