dc.description.abstract | This paper describes an introductory course in Building Information Modeling for fourth and fifth year architecture students, a course that seeks to develop, as well as critique, an alternate model for BIM courses in design programs. Rather than focusing on the mastery of computer skills, the course is devoted to the general consideration of the nature of design process in architecture and, in particular, to the investigation of the question "How can Revit support and enhance the compelling model of design process described in Stephen Kieran and James Timberlake’s MANUAL?" | |
