Abstract
In the last five years the web has exploded with new tools and websites that innovative services and new ways to collaborate. Although many of these new sites gain mention for being used in public services, they can also be adapted for use in Access Services. This presentation examines a few of these free web 2.0 tools that can be used to help create Access Services 2.0. Some of these tools, such as Google documents and calendar, blogs, and wikis, can be used to help improve internal and external functions within Access Services and provide better services to patrons. Real world examples that were used, both successes and failures, at Jack Tarver Library will be discussed. Other alternatives will also be presented.
