dc.description Amit Kumar is a post doctoral fellow in the Girguis Laboratory at Harvard University, under the direction of Peter R. Girguis, professor of Organismic & Evolutionary Biology. He is also a post-doc in the Department of Chemical Engineering at MIT. He is a member of Dr. Gregory Stephanopoulosâ's research team. His research focuses on energy & environment and the engineering of microbial processes for the production of fuels and chemicals.
