Abstract
The forward solution and inverse problem of PDE/ODE are of great significance in mathematics and engineering. How to solve them faster, more accurately and more stably is the goal of scholars. With the development of machine learning and statistics, we can now use smarter and more convenient methods to try to solve these problems. This paper describes two special problems in the forward and inverse problems, simulating shockwave and determining the change point. Both of these situations involve discontinuities, and I used some advanced methods to deal with them and achieved good results.
