Abstract
The project designed a parts sharing system for GE Energy's gas turbines to minimize purchasing costs and residual part life. By
employing successive network flow optimizations and grouping methods, the team demonstrated savings of $5.7 million per year in
costs and $32.9 million in part residual life over 11 years.
