Abstract
[Emil Man] As part of Honeywell’s digitization of our business, we have been working on moving towards distributed computing through microservice architecture deployments. As we also work on moving our software products from a monolith software architecture to micro-services based we have been working hard to analyze the implications from the security perspective. In this lecture, I will go through my “10 Lessons Learned” from securing a micro-service architecture environment and what it means to look at an entire ecosystem of supporting infrastructure, tools, culture and DevSecOps teams.
[Karun Rajasekharan] Honeywell Building Technologies develops and releases hundreds of products across the globe with over 100 Scrum teams. Product security has been identified as a key product development priority. With deep insight from his role as a Product Security Architecture Leader, Karun will walk through the method of adapting existing security development processes to the new agile development processes.
