Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, the President of Liberia visited Tech campus on September 13, 2006 to deliver a speech on information technology. Speaking at the Global Learning Center, she addressed an audience of Tech students, faculty, diplomats and technical professionals on the role information technology could play in her country's recovery from years of conflict and strife.
