Abstract
The Government Center Study was part of a larger analysis of downtown housing possibilities carried out by the Applied Development Methods class at the Georgia Institute of Technology. The class targeted three areas: Midtown/North Downtown, the Fairlie-Poplar historic district, and the Government Center area. The goal of the class was to identify possible housing markets with downtown Atlanta and to develop accompanying market studies and analysis to support or refute this potential housing.
