Abstract
This presentation will share how St. John Fisher’s Access Services department is actively supporting the strategic goals set by the library and aligned with the college through creative use of technology. With the use of an iPad, Googledrive, ILL software, and more, see how one library is going green with their inter-library loan pull slips, completed an entire inventory process without printing one sheet of paper, collects real time usage of library spaces, collaborates with other departments in the library to provide quick and efficient access to resources, and more. This presentation will take the use of these technologies one step further and demonstrate how the statistics gathered using them can support assessment initiatives and provide quality value added data to reports shared with administration. Access Services is a key player in the library. Learn how you can take what you’re already doing and make it better with a little technology and a lot of fun.
