Abstract
This talk briefly reviews recent US patents related to carpet recycling. It provides a sampling of new innovative processes, technologies and products. The patents are reviewed in the following categories: chemical process-depolymerization, other chemical processes, component separation, products, mechanical processing, and recyclable carpet.
