Abstract
The talk first addressed competing uses of water and the likely impacts on these uses as water in the Rio Santa becomes scarcer due to glacial retreat. It then outlined possible steps for
building a coordinated effort to achieve an equitable and sustainable allocation of the river's reduced flow.
