| dc.description.abstract | The talk presents innovative specialty structures where facade engineering informs new building designs. The following examples are presented: 1) Louis Vuitton Aventura Florida ‐ open‐moulded Ductal Screen using UHPC 2) Tesselated Free‐form Sculptures by Marc Fornes in Edmonton/‐ riveted thin cold‐bent panels 3) Private Residence Seattle ‐ Crystal Glass House 4) Nike Flagship Store Manhattan ‐ cast Terracotta Facade Twist 5) LED Loft Terrace NYC ‐ Sunflower Trellis with laser‐printed connections.
