dc.description.abstract Clint Zeaglar and Laura Levy, curators of Nostalgic Futures: 25 Years of Imagining the Future, reflect on the exhibit Thursday, March 28 at 11 a.m. in the Georgia Tech Library's third floor Data Visualization and retroTECH lab. The exhibit, developed the Graphics Visualization and Usability (GVU) Center, documents the contributions of Georgia Tech researchers to a variety of technologies we now take for granted. Its researchers were among the pioneers of these fields. “There was a time when information was conveyed through tables of numbers,” said Zeagler. “Now we are so used to being presented with beautiful infographics that we forget how much thought and research goes into creating those visualizations.” en_US
