Multivariable Calculus Activities for Synchronous Online Recitations, Spring 2015
(Georgia Institute of Technology, 2015-01) Mayer, Greg
This resource contains curriculum for the distance education version of a 16 week course offered at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Math 2401, in Spring 2015. This course explored multivariable calculus concepts during lectures and recitations. Recitations are synchronous sessions that offer students an opportunity to apply and review course concepts, which they have been exposed to in lectures. Contained in this curriculum are materials for 26 recitations, available in PDF and presentation slide formats. Some presentations are in LaTeX file format. The slide format is offered for teaching assistants to import directly into web-conferencing software. Slides contain activities that students would solve during recitations. The associated notes contain solutions to corresponding activities and are available in PDF format.

Linear Algebra and Calculus Activities for Synchronous Online Recitations, Fall 2014
(Georgia Institute of Technology, 2014-12) Mayer, Greg
This resource contains curriculum for the distance education version of a course offered at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Math 1502, in Fall 2014. This distance education course explored linear algebra, infinite series, and differential equation concepts during lectures and recitations. Recitations are synchronous sessions that offer students an opportunity to apply and review course concepts, which they have been exposed to in lectures. Contained in this curriculum are materials for 26 recitations, available in PDF and presentation slide formats (bundled in zip file). The slide format is offered for teaching assistants to import directly into web-conferencing software. Slides contain activities that students would solve during recitations. The associated notes contain solutions to corresponding activities and are available in PDF format. A similar version of this work, that corresponds to activities conducted in the Fall 2013 semester, is available through SMARTech at http://hdl.handle.net/1853/51343

Linear Algebra and Infinite Series Activities for Synchronous Online Recitations
(Georgia Institute of Technology, 2014-03) Mayer, Greg
This resource contains curriculum for the distance-learning version of a course offered at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Math 1502, which explored linear algebra and infinite series concepts during synchronous lectures and recitations. Recitations are a space where students apply concepts they have been exposed to in lectures with a teaching assistant. Contained in this curriculum are materials for 29 recitations, available in presentation slide format, that teaching assistants can import directly into web-conferencing software. Slides contain activities that students would solve during recitations, and associated notes contain solutions to these activities and are available in PDF format.
