dc.description.abstract This is a studio portrait of the 1909 members of ANAK, a Georgia Tech student honorary society for seniors. It appeared in the Blue Print for 1909, on page 69. There are nine unidentified students, shown in two rows. All are dressed in suits and ties.||The ANAK Society was founded in 1908. The 1909 student yearbook says that its members are those from the senior class who have shown themselves zealous in the development of college spirit. It aims to develop a better morale among the student body and to improve all phases of college life. ANAK members published the first Blue Print in 1908, founded the Glee Club and the student newspaper, the Technique and were influential in the implementation of the campus honor system. Membership in ANA K is still considered the highest honor a senior can attain at Georgia Tech. en_US
