Will Wright and Video Game Experts Draw Big Audiences at the IAC Founder’s Day Event and Living Game Worlds Symposium.

The Ivan Allen College Founder’s Day on March 15 was followed by the Living Game Worlds Symposium that featured electronic gaming experts from industry and academia discussing issues such as the convergence of digital media technologies and the future of entertainment. “Will Wright is the driving force behind the genre of the simulation game,” says Janet Murray, director of graduate studies in the School of Literature, Communication and Culture.

General Ray Davis

General Ray Davis (1915-2003) and other Veterans will be Remembered and Honored at Luncheon on April 25

On April 25, 2005, a luncheon will be held at Georgia Tech to remember the late General Ray Davis, to honor Vietnam War Veterans, and to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the end of the war. The General Raymond C. Davis Endowment Fund was established in the Spring of 2003 to provide financial foundation for a Security Studies program at Georgia Tech’s Center for International Strategy, Technology and Policy.
