[00:00:00] >> Rice and privileges. Prior to that might. Have been. A concern about a country you have spoken a lot about the root causes of the conflict. Point in time realized. I was starting with the first question because that was one of my recommendation that. We have to really look at the property. [00:00:43] Because that really will be a source of great conflict. Something. Conflicts. And. Will be a problem and we have to take that. We have to bring. People many of the. Want to go home and. They have somebody else somebody said there was never your home I have property myself. [00:01:34] My mother gave me a property. One of. His sister has build a house and. The house where I lived in. A grenade I went for the second time I went in two thousand and two thousand and six and two thousand and six this man comes out. Were never bored. [00:02:02] And so this is a situation if people want to go back to help with development they don't have a place to say something nice to be done about that you talked about us about. The execution. I'm sure I mean I know I never talk to my father directly about this but I know that his heart was heavy and because he didn't. [00:02:32] I think it was a difficult decision to make. And. The death sentence I think that's the only one he ever signed but I know it bothered him I don't know the details you know I wasn't in Liberia when it happened. But any time somebody has to be executed it's sad because it's not just the person. [00:02:59] If you have to think about their children children but it probably was all the loss of Liberia that. The Old Testament say. When somebody killed he should be killed but I myself. I don't know. This is something that people have to discuss and I hope in Liberia there will be a forum where. [00:03:22] People. Has to have to accept the dead penalty or not and in some countries it has they don't have other countries but Liberia has to come to a decision one way I don't know what it is now on the books will still have the dead but. If something is a controversy so to speak but I do effected survive this. [00:03:49] Otherwise I don't know the details of I never asked him about it and you said something else about. The series of rights and privileges for the. PRESS. I. Say. History is something that we can use the coming of settlers the historian will say. You have a group of people that came to Liberia that had more knowledge than those lower the natives and they came together to form a country of course these people had the education. [00:04:30] That we. Already Had you get you got the disparity already and so disparity persisted. But so of course. In every country there is the poor in the fridge and the rich has privileges and so of course there was Liberia was no different there was this disparity. And you know my father knew to get rid of disparity was education that's why he stressed. [00:05:01] And he was trying but you know we didn't have much Liberia had very little money and people thought like you had so much money that's why they were going to take over and within one year after the coup we saw that they couldn't even pay all that they could even paid for Christmas because when my husband was in Berlin or he was sent to. [00:05:22] He said one of the soldiers came to him and said you know it's Christmas Day we don't you we have our pay. One time I was there we had our period before Christmas so they thought that was a lot of money but it wasn't so people were trying their best I know to my father's I know his heart was very heavy about that and he did his best to decrease the disparity but unfortunately the war has made a disparity even worse. [00:05:50] We have more poor people you Liberia who's more disenfranchise people were living on a fountain go in the crops they were much better of them. Being crowded movie where. There's so much poverty without the first hour I went to saw people walking in the street. They had to go there which is walking in the streets and there were said this is why I'm trying to see how I can help in the development we all have a part to play to reduce the disparity so no doubt there was no doubt this is what who have to fight even harder for because the spirit of spirit is great. [00:06:29] Thank you very much you say. And for the last word. God bless Liberia God bless you all. And I pray that you will. Remember. That we're all one no matter what tribe we are from the tribe and it's not about who you are we have to. Look at our character the content of our character. [00:07:02] And we also have to have a vision for where we want to call and let us work together as one people. Because United we stand let us make sure that. We don't have extra extra forces coming and destroy our country. We know that many many of the big powers have. [00:07:28] Opportunities to help and build us a little work together with them for the development of our country rather than the destruction of Liberia we thank you very much and we will pray for your safety as you go out and we pray that your report will be accepted and the Liberian people will. [00:07:50] Together because the president alone can I do it. No one can I do it everybody together have to. First. Implemented change the around themselves and help them be the change the want to see in Liberia thank you very much thank you very much. I. Thought.
