Description of the files in this dataset (http://hdl.handle.net/1853/53344): screen_captures/* : =================== This folder contains 100 compressed screen capture video clips of the experiment. The file names are formatted as ___.m4v where Participant : The ID associated with a participant Sequence : The order in which the participant did the scenarios. "1" is the first scenario the participant did, "4" the last. Scenario : The scenario ID, created from the aid factor and the environment ID. Aid factor levels are "a" for no aid, and "A" for aid allowed. The environment IDs are 1--4, defining the map and the number of UAVs used in the scenario. Questionnaire : The ID of the post-scenario quesstionnaire filled out by the participant after the scenario has been completed. Note that the recorded completion times for the scenarios *do not match* the runtime of the videos due to a FPS (frames per second) change that occured during the compression/encoding of the clips. However, the speed change should be identical accross all clips, still allowing for relative comparison. The "scenario" questionnaire was administered four times for each participant (each participant filled) out one immediately after she/he finished a run), and the "experiment" questionnaire was administered once, after the last scenario questionnaire. questionnaire_data/* : ====================== Data generated from the post-scenario and post-experiment questionnaires. The data are "corrected" in the sense that comments written on the (paper) questionnaires are incorporated. questionnaire_data/sdaps_post-scenario_data_corrected.csv : =========================================================== The collected responses from the post-scenario questionnaire. The columns match the numbered response fields of the questionnaire up until column "AH". After that some manual aggregation has been entered. questionnaire_data/sdaps_post-experiment_data_corrected.csv : ============================================================= The collected responses from the post-sexperiment questionnaire. The columns match the numbered response fields of the questionnaire. Written entries for the field of study have been manually binned. To protect the privacy of the participants, age and gender identification has been removed. questionnaire_data/association_log.csv : ======================================== A table associating the participants with the questionnaires they filled out. The columns are: P : The participant ID S: The ID of the i-th scenario the participants completed. Q: The ID of the post-scenario questionnaire the participants completed after the i-th scenario. Post: The ID of the post-experiment questionnaire the participants completed after the last scenario. aggregated_questionnaire_data.csv : =================================== An aggregation of data from the questionnaire data files, used for statistical analysis. Questionnaire : ID of the post-scenario questionnaire Participant : ID of the participant Sequence : A counter indicating the sequence or order in which the participants saw a scenario. "1" means that this particular run was the 1st run for that participant, "2" the second, etc. Scenario : ID of the scenario, indicating Aid factor and Environment Map : The map used for that run: a large map ('M') or a small map ('m') UAV : The size of the UAV swarms: The large swarm ('N') had 8 UAVs, the small one ('n') had 4 Environment : This is a convolution of 'Map' and 'UAV', i.e. a factor with four levels, and as such technically redundant information 1: 'M'&'N' (large map, large swarm) 2: 'M'&'n' (large map, small swarm) 3: 'm'&'N' (small map, large swarm) 4: 'm'&'n' (small map, small swarm) Aid : Whether the Aid was present in a particular run ('A') or not present ('a) Time : The completion time in seconds for that run TLX Mental : TLX score (0-10) for the mental workload TLX Physical : TLX score (0-10) for the physical workload TLX Temporal : TLX score (0-10) for the temporal pressure TLX Performance : TLX score (10-0) for performance TLX Effort : TLX score (0-10) for effort TLX Frustration : TLX score (0-10) for For questions about this dataset, please contact Dr. Karen Feigh at karen.feigh@gatech.edu.
